The 1,200 feet long and 2.5 lakh tonne Icon of the seas can carry 7600 passengers. It will also have 2,350 employees. The ship has a three-story town house with 28 rooms.

Three floors have all kinds of shopping facilities. There are eye catching venues such as Central Park, Pearl. At the top of the ship there is a water park called Thrill Island.

Jason Liberty, chairman of Royal Caribbean, which built the Icon of the seas, said it was the world's largest cruise ship. LNG is used to power this vessel. liquefied natural gas called methane is used. Experts say it can harm the environment.
