UP: Fireplace lit in the room to escape the cold, died due to suffocation
To provide relief to lakhs of people suffering from severe cold, the government is working to provide relief by distributing bonfires and blankets, but three members of the same family have died in kanpur due to the cold. The unique reason of this incident has surprised everyone from the police to the public, three members of a family who slept with the fireplace lit in the room, have died due to suffocation.
Actually, due to protection from cold, every person is making his own efforts from the point of view of relief. At the same time, Poonam Chandra Sharma, a family living in Basti of Juhi police station area of kanpur, was keeping fire in the room by lighting a fireplace in the room to protect from the cold. Then at the time of sleeping, they forgot to extinguish the burning fireplace and closed the room and the whole family went to sleep. After which, due to lack of oxygen in the room, three members of the sleeping family died of suffocation in the morning.
Deputy Commissioner of police Ravindra Kumar reached the spot along with the forensic team and started investigation and said that the family had lit the fireplace and slept in the room at night due to cold. Due to which at first glance it appears that three members of the family have died due to suffocation. 90 year old Purna Chandra, 85 year old Mithila and 50 year old son narendra have died of suffocation. He was declared dead after medical examination. Along with this, the condition of the 22 year old granddaughter and 18 year old boy is critical and they are being treated. There is a sensation in the area due to the death of three members of a family simultaneously and people are also surprised by the death.
