Thousands of lamps were lit in the shape of 'Siyavar Ramchandra ki Jai' in hindi words at a ground in Maharashtra's Chandrapur city in view of the ram mandir pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya. maharashtra cabinet minister Sudhir Mungantiwar along with his family members performed puja and lit lamps late on saturday night. The event was held at the Chanda Club grounds where several saffron flags have been put up to celebrate the ram mandir pran Pratishtha ceremony to be held in ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Here Dr. Shyama prasad Mukherjee Public Reading Room organized this program where fireworks were also done.
Holiday announced in Maharashtra
The Shinde government of maharashtra has declared a public holiday on january 22, 2024, when the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the ram temple in ayodhya will take place. This decision has been taken after cabinet minister and senior bjp leader Mangal Prabhat lodha demanded declaring a public holiday.
Before the pran Pratishtha ceremony, the ram temple in ayodhya has been decorated with flowers and special lights for this grand event. ayodhya residents say, "Ayodhya city is becoming full of Ram." Sources in the temple trust said that a "rich stock" of flowers has been used for decoration and the temple has been decorated in view of the ceremony to be held on january 22. Special designs of flowers have been prepared for decoration.
