Reportedly the largest Maharana Bhupal Hospital of udaipur division under the government Rabindranath Tagore (RNT) Medical college of udaipur, rajasthan has achieved a major achievement. After SMS Hospital of jaipur, this is the second hospital in udaipur, where the organs of a brain dead patient have been donated. Also, by making a green corridor, the organs were sent by flight to SMS Hospital in jaipur, where other patients were transplanted. The organ donors are residents of Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, whose family gave consent for organ donation.

Principal of RNT Medical college, Dr. Vipin Mathur said that it is a matter of happiness that the hospital has achieved a big achievement. For the first time, the process of organ donation of a brain dead patient has been completed here. This hospital has become the second government college of rajasthan, which has achieved this feat. The 56-year-old patient, resident of Neemuch, was admitted in the super specialty wing of Maniklal Hospital for 15 days. He became brain dead due to brain hemorrhage. A team of doctors came from jaipur SMS and Hyderabad's IMS, and they found only the liver and kidney suitable for the operation. After this, the green corridor was again built and the organ reached Jaipur.

Moreover Dr. sunil Gokhru, head of the urology department in the hospital, said that the doctors were continuously informing the patient's family about the patient's condition. It was also told that the patient is brain dead and there is no possibility of recovery. After this, when we talked to the family members about organ donation, later the family members also agreed. After this, the process was started, in which the doctor's team discussed brain dead and its chances of recovery, talks with the organ donation agency and other aspects. When the doctor's team confirmed that there was no possibility of recovery, we searched for organ recipients at the state level, but did not find anyone. After this the information was again sent to the Regional Center Chandigarh.
