On this day, Ramlala will be consecrated in a grand ceremony and thousands of people from all over the country will participate in the program. At the same time, crores of people across the country will celebrate Shri Ram's arrival in ayodhya like a festival by lighting lamps in their homes. Not only this, the day of ram temple inauguration has also been officially declared a holiday in five states of the country.

The states where holiday has been declared on 22 january 2024 are-

- Madhya Pradesh

- Goa

Holiday proposal presented in rajasthan also

The Bhajanlal government of rajasthan is also planning to declare january 22 as a public holiday. For this, a proposal can be passed in the CM's cabinet meeting.

There will be dry day in these states on 22 January

Not only this, along with the announcement of holiday, the government of many states has also announced dry day in the state. That means, on the day of Ramlala's consecration, every wine shop will remain closed and there will be a ban on drinking alcohol. On january 22, all country liquor and foreign liquor retail shops, restaurants, bars, hotel bars and clubs etc. will remain closed in these states. The Chief Ministers of all these states have officially announced that there will be a dry day in the state. Also, people can celebrate Deepotsav by lighting lamps in their homes and nearby temples and participate wholeheartedly in the ayodhya program by singing hymns of Shri Ram.
