In 11 years, the country's politics have shifted 360 degrees...

From 2013, we have now reached 2024. Eleven years have seen a complete 360-degree turn in the nation's politics. rahul Gandhi is battling for control and the congress is in opposition.

When manmohan singh entered office as prime minister again in 2009, it took him nine days to appoint more ministers. On May 28, 2009, he received a surprising list of cabinet ministers. It was suggested for the first time that five youthful MPs be appointed as ministers in the Manmohan cabinet, regardless of their seniority. By 2012, this figure had approached 10, or 12 percent of Manmohan's cabinet. The departments also paid close attention to these ministers. rahul Gandhi's endorsement was the primary factor that attracted attention.

The leaders were all rahul Brigade members who were appointed ministers based on their quota. Silent opposition to it came from several party leaders, but fear prevented anybody from speaking out. The goal was to keep sonia safe during the entire situation. Many powerful leaders were devastated when sonia revealed in the 2013 Chintan Shivir the reason these leaders were appointed ministers. "If the youth are not taken forward now, then who will fight for the party in the future?" sonia recalled rahul telling her during the formation of the administration.

By 2024, eleven years have passed since 2013, and the political landscape of the nation has completely changed. rahul Gandhi is battling for control and the congress is in opposition. If anyone is supporting him in this fight, it's his former cabinet colleague. Five leaders who were part of rahul Gandhi's cabinet have left the party in the past four years. It is Milind Deora who has recently resigned. Deora was appointed the Congress's Joint Treasurer.
