What is Rahul Narvekar's decision in the MLA disqualification case?
The long-running mla disqualification case in maharashtra came to an end on wednesday when assembly Speaker rahul Narvekar took the decision in favor of the Shinde faction. In his decision, the Speaker declared Shinde faction of shiv sena as the real party and with this, Eknath Shinde's cm chair was saved. However, other opposition parties including the uddhav faction are not happy with this decision of the Speaker and are continuously protesting. Mahavikas Aghadi has termed it as 'murder of democracy'.
Now amidst these voices of protest, the reaction of State Excise minister Sambhuraje Desai of Shinde government has come to light. He raised questions to those who opposed the Speaker's decision. He said that according to the uddhav group, if democracy has been murdered, then they should tell that in the year 2019, shiv sena and bjp had contested the elections together, at that time the names of shiv sena leaders. But votes were given to bjp and similarly to shiv sena candidates in the name of bjp leaders. The mandate was for shiv sena and bjp but who did the work of going against the public's decision? Then the leader of shiv sena and UBT had murdered democracy by allying with Mahavikas Aghadi.

The Shinde government minister said that he had also said that both leaders aditya thackeray and sanjay raut had said objectionable words about assembly Speaker rahul Narvekar. That is why we are also thinking of bringing a violation motion against both of them.
Was the assembly Speaker's decision 'match fixing'?
It is noteworthy that rahul Narvekar's decision was termed as 'match fixing' by uddhav group leader Sanjay Raut. On this, Shinde faction leader Sambhuraje Desai said that if this match was fixing then 14 MLAs of UBT would have been disqualified.
