Amidst the shock in Maharashtra, there has been news of relief for the uddhav thackeray faction. Actually, Shinde faction had demanded disqualification of 14 MLAs of uddhav faction. In his decision, Speaker rahul Narvekar rejected the demand of Shinde faction. That means, along with 16 MLAs of Shinde faction, 14 MLAs of uddhav faction were also declared eligible. Overall, it was a day of both shock and relief for the uddhav thackeray group. But non-disqualification of MLAs of Shinde group is being considered as a big blow for uddhav thackeray group. On this decision, shiv sena (UBT) mp Priyanka Chaturvedi alleged that Speaker rahul Narvekar showed opportunism. He said that only that happens which is acceptable to narendra modi and amit Shah.

What did the speaker say about the MLAs of Shinde group?

Maharashtra assembly Speaker rahul Narvekar started reading his order on the disqualification petitions of shiv sena MLAs.

Maharashtra assembly Speaker Narvekar said: Cannot accept the argument of the petitioner (Uddhav faction) that the 2018 party constitution should be relied upon.

The constitution of shiv sena provided by the election commission is the real constitution, which will be called the constitution of Shiv Sena.

The argument of the uddhav thackeray faction to consider the 2018 Constitution of shiv sena cannot be accepted.

Shiv Sena's constitution is relevant to identify the limits of the leadership structure.

The 1999 constitution is the one that was presented to the election commission by shiv sena before the emergence of rival groups.

Shiv Sena 'pramukh' does not have the power to expel any leader from the party.

Shinde faction in the assembly had the support of 37 out of 55 shiv sena MLAs.
