A group of people making incense sticks, loaded in a big truck from gujarat and taking them to ayodhya, reached Bharatpur in rajasthan today. On reaching Bharatpur, people welcomed us by showering flowers on incense sticks at Saras intersection on Jaipur-Agra National Highway and chanting jai Shri Ram.
It is being told that a program of consecration is being organized by installing the idol of Shri Ramlala in the ram temple of ayodhya on 22 January. A special incense stick has been prepared in vadodara, gujarat for the consecration of ram temple in Ayodhya. It took about 6 months to prepare this incense stick and the weight of the incense stick is 3610 kg and length is 108 feet. Along with many types of herbs, cow dung and ghee made from cow milk has also been used in incense sticks. The incense sticks will last for about one and a half months and will spread its fragrance over an area of 50 kilometers. The width of this incense stick is said to be about three and a half feet.
