Recently congress has announced the election committee for Chhattisgarh. deepak Baij has been made its president. Along with this, Bhupesh Baghel, Dr. Charan Das Mahant, T.S. Singh Dev, Tamradhwaj Sahu, ravindra Choubey, Mohammad Akbar, Shivkumar Dahria, Anila Bhindiya, jai Singh Aggarwal, Mohan Markam, Guru Rudra Kumar, Dhanendra Sahu, Satyanarayan Sharma, Amitesh Shukla, Vikas Upadhyay, Rajesh Tiwari and Paras Chopra are included. Meanwhile before the lok sabha elections to be held this year, congress has announced the election committee for Chhattisgarh. Earlier, former deputy cm of rajasthan Sachin Pilot was appointed in-charge of chhattisgarh by Congress. TS Singh Dev has been the former deputy cm of the state. He lost the assembly elections this time. Tamradhwaj Sahu has also lost in the elections this time. congress state president deepak Baij also had to face defeat. Mohan Makram is also a name in this list that bjp defeated in the elections.
Perhaps the assembly elections were disappointing for Congress. Out of the total 90 seats in the assembly, congress won 35 seats. Whereas, bjp won 54 seats.
Now congress has its eyes on the lok sabha elections. In the last lok sabha elections, congress had won two seats. bjp had won nine seats. There are total 11 lok sabha seats in Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, congress faces the challenge of performing well in the lok sabha elections after the defeat in the Assembly.
