Earlier, karan Singh Verma was also made Revenue minister in the government of Shivraj Singh Chauhan. After assuming charge, Revenue minister karan Singh Verma got introduced to the departmental officers and took information about the departmental work. Revenue minister karan Singh Verma made it clear to the officers of the department that "Farmers and common people should not data-face any problem in any work related to the Revenue Department. Work should be done honestly without corruption." He warned that if even the slightest complaint of corruption is received, immediate action will be taken.
