CM Sukhu meets Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi

himachal pradesh chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is on delhi tour. In delhi, the chief minister met Union home minister amit Shah. During this meeting, the cm discussed the damage caused by the natural disaster caused by the recent rains in Himachal Pradesh. He told the home minister that Himachal has submitted the assessment report related to the natural disaster to the home Ministry. He has requested that the central government should release funds as soon as possible to help in the reconstruction work being done by the State Government.

During this meeting, chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also requested to include different routes under the concessional helicopter service scheme. He told the Union minister that himachal pradesh government has already sent the details of the routes to the Ministry. He urged that approval in this regard should be given as soon as possible, so that the people of the state can get its benefits.

cm asked for pending funds of Vibrant village Program

chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government has submitted proposals worth Rs 658.31 crore under the Vibrant village Programme. He informed the Union minister that the home Ministry has given in-principle approval for only 14 works amounting to Rs 3.87 crore. Urging to approve the remaining amount of money as soon as possible, he said that the development of these villages is very important from the point of view of national security.
