Income Tax officials showing action again in Coimbatore..!?
Income Tax Department officials are conducting raids in more than 10 places in Coimbatore. In the districts of coimbatore, Erode and other districts under the western zone of tamil Nadu, the revenue officials are conducting the inspection in 80 groups. As a part of it, the income tax audit is being conducted at the house of Vignesh, the owner of Ellen industries on Balasundaram Road, coimbatore since this morning.
Elan industries is a manufacturer of motor pumps. Vignesh, founder of Ellen industries, is the Chairman of the SIMA organization. According to the authorities, the Income Tax department is conducting the investigation due to tax evasion. Similarly, income tax audit is also going on in a construction company called Green Field Housing near Kalapatti, Coimbatore. Income tax audit is going on in Karumathampatti and Kovilpalayam area owned by Green Field Housing Company. According to the officials, this investigation is being conducted because the land has been purchased at various places for the construction of the house and taxes have been evaded. An employee from Greenfield Housing Company has been taken to the bank and is being investigated. In coimbatore alone, more than ten places are being inspected by the Income Tax department.
