Marwar's dominance in the cabinet of Bhajanlal government
After a long wait for the formation of the Council of Ministers of rajasthan, the Bhajanlal government of rajasthan today administered oath to 22 ministers. Six of those ministers are from Marwar. Out of 33 seats in Marwar, bjp had won 23 seats. Now the dominance of Marwar is visible in the cabinet team of Bhajan Lal government.
In view of the lok sabha elections, castes have been simplified by creating caste equations. Three cabinet ministers and three ministers have been made, in which Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, Jogaram patel and avinash Gehlot have been sworn in as cabinet ministers. Apart from first-time mla KK Bishnoi, Zoraram Kumawat and Otaram Dewasi have been made ministers. Jogaram patel, bjp mla from Luni assembly seat of Jodhpur, has been made cabinet minister in the Bhajanlal government. Has won from Luni assembly thrice. Has also been parliamentary secretary. He had defeated Mahendra Bishnoi in this election. Before that, veteran congress leader ram Singh Bishnoi had also lost the election. He is close to former chief minister Vasundhara Raje. During the election campaign, a meeting was also held in support of Jogaram Patel. Representation has been given from patel community.
Apart from this, bjp mla from Lohawat assembly constituency of Jodhpur, Gajendra Singh Khinvsar has been a minister in Vasundhara government twice before. He has taken oath as a cabinet minister. Earlier he used to contest elections from Khinvsar seat. But from 2003 he contested elections from Lohawat and won. In 2018, Congress's Kisnaram lost the election to Bishnoi. Gajendra Singh Khinvsar has won by defeating Kisnaram Vishnoi of Congress. He has been given representation from Rajput community. He is considered close to former chief minister Vasundhara Raje.
