Rajasthan chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma has great faith in Girraj Ji Maharaj. chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma has been circumambulating Govardhan Mountain for many years. Before becoming the chief minister, Bhajanlal Sharma has been working in the organization as the General Secretary of the state for many years. Whenever Bhajanlal Sharma gets time, he has been coming to visit Girraj Ji Maharaj and circumambulate Govardhan Parvat. Even after becoming the chief minister, Bhajanlal Sharma had reached Govardhan to see Girraj ji. Now his wife and son are circling the Govardhan mountain in prostration.

It is told that for the last 16 years, Chief Minister's wife Geeta Sharma has been doing Dandavat Parikrama of Girraj Maharaj. Now the Chief Minister's son abhishek has also joined this faith and is doing 'Dandavat Parikrama' amid tight security arrangements of the police force. The Chief Minister's wife and son are lying down on the road amid tight security and circumambulating the Govardhan mountain spread over 7 kos.

Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma himself is a devotee of Girraj Maharaj and has been circumambulating Govardhan Mountain for many years. Bhajanlal Sharma, resident of village Attari of Nadbai assembly constituency of Bharatpur district, comes from a farmer family and has now traveled from a small bjp worker to the post of chief minister of Rajasthan. Bhajanlal Sharma has been a devotee of Lord krishna even while holding the post of General Secretary of BJP. Have been worshiping him and circling the Govardhan mountain situated in Mathura.
