Organic fertilizer will be made from the flowers, Shrine Board?
There is a grand temple of Sheetala Mata in Gurugram, haryana, where devotees from all over the country come to have darshan of the Mother Goddess. Now a big initiative has started in Shitala Mata Temple. The flowers offered by the devotees here will no longer be thrown in the dustbin. Rather, organic fertilizer will be prepared from it. Apart from flowers, some other materials will also be used in it. Composting machine has been installed in the Mata Mandir premises to make organic manure from flowers.
Sohna SDM formally inaugurated the machine
This machine, provided to Shitala Devi Shrine Board in collaboration with haryana State CSR Trust and Federal bank, was formally inaugurated by pradeep Singh, SDM of Sohna and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Shitala Mata Shrine Board. During this, Additional CEO of haryana State CSR Trust Gaurav Singh and representatives of Federal bank were also present. CEO pradeep Singh, after formally inaugurating the machine, said that Shitala Mata temple of Gurugram is a major place of faith in North India. Where lakhs of devotees come on various occasions to have darshan of the Mother Goddess. In such a situation, this machine installed under the CSR initiative of Federal bank is a testimony to the collective efforts of public and private sectors in promoting sustainable waste management and environmental protection.
50 kg organic fertilizer will be prepared from 250 kg waste.
pradeep Singh told that this machine will convert 250 kg of waste into 50 kg of organic fertilizer every day. Which will be made available to the devotees visiting the temple through packet packing in future. He said that the minimum prices of these packets will be determined in the board meeting. pradeep Singh said that this initiative underlines the commitment of all parties involved towards social and environmental responsibility. Whose aim is to contribute to a clean and green environment. He said that it is expected that the waste to compost conversion machine will play an important role in effective management of waste in Shitala Mata temple, thereby promoting environmental sustainability.
