RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary wrote a letter to the Chief Minister
Notification has been issued for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable in UP Police. Candidates will be able to apply online for this recruitment from 27th December. A large number of candidates are demanding age relaxation regarding this recruitment. Overaged candidates say that they should be given relaxation in age limit for this recruitment. Now RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary has also supported the candidates in this matter.
Rajya Sabha mp and RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary has written a letter to chief minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the age limit in UP police recruitment. In this letter, the RLD mla has asked cm Yogi to give relaxation to the overaged candidates.
The RLD leader wrote in his letter - "Honorable chief minister, advertisement for recruitment in UP police has been published in the newspapers of 23 december 2023. In which no relaxation has been given in the age limit. The age limit for general category in UP police recruitment is 18. is 22 years. The last recruitment in the state was on 16 november 2018. Thus, due to no recruitment in the police during these five years, lakhs of youth of the state have gone beyond this age limit." Further, the RLD mla wrote - "In view of this fact, the demand for age relaxation in the current recruitment of lakhs of youth of the state who were deprived of recruitment during this period, is completely justified and justified. I also believe that the youth of the state should Age relaxation should be provided in recruitment. I hope that taking cognizance of the above facts, you will consider sympathetically the demand of the youth of the state and provide relaxation in age limit in the current recruitment."
