Many projects are run by the lok sabha Speaker in Kota Bundi parliamentary constituency, of which the Blanket Fund is the most prominent, in which blankets and quilts are provided free of cost every day without any rent to the people coming to the hospital in winter. Not only this, every possible help is also provided to them. Complete arrangements for treatment are made. The Speaker of the lok sabha had started this project 16 years ago which is continuing even today. One such project was started by his brother Harikrishna Birla in the Medical College.

There is a story behind lok sabha Speaker om birla starting the Blanket Fund, in which his mind was shaken by the words of a person. One winter night in 2007, outside a hospital, om birla saw a man from a rural area carrying a new quilt. When asked, he told that he had brought the quilt on rent. The rent for the quilt is low but the security deposit is very high. For this reason, three people will survive on one quilt. In view of this, om birla started the "Blanket Fund" project for the families of patients who spend the night outside the hospital, in which blankets and quilts are provided to them free of cost. This project is running continuously in all the major government hospitals of Kota and Bundi.

Many people started blanket fund

On the initiative of lok sabha Speaker om birla, the social project Free Blanket Fund Service, which has been running in the area for one and a half decade, was started in the winter season. Now this facility has been started every day in both the big hospitals of the city, Medical college and MBS. Consumer Store Chairman Harikrishna Birla and Mandi Association President avinash Rathi formally started the project by presenting blankets to the attendants. There will be relief to the attendants who come to take care of the patients in the hospitals, and there will also be relief from the rent charged for blankets and quilts.
