Farmers will get Rs 64.78 crore bonus on Good Governance Day...
Before the chhattisgarh Assembly elections, bjp had made many promises in its manifesto as a guarantee for PM Modi. Now implementation of these promises has been started. Today (Monday 25th December) former prime minister of india Bharat Ratna Late. Good Governance Day is being celebrated on the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On this day, farmers of Surajpur district will be given the amount of outstanding paddy bonus of Kharif year 2014-15 and 2015-16. The administration has made extensive preparations for this and on Good Governance Day, in the development blocks of the district, Odgi, Pratappur, Bhaiyathan, Surajpur, Premnagar, Ramanujnagar. The bonus amount will be distributed by organizing a bonus distribution program.
According to the information received in this regard, in the Kharif marketing year 2014-15, 18280 farmers of Surajpur district will be given the pending bonus amount of Rs 34 crore 12 lakh 94 thousand for 11 lakh 37 thousand 648 quintals of paddy at the rate of Rs 300 per quintal. Similarly, in the Kharif marketing year 2015-16, 16160 farmers from the district will be given a pending bonus amount of Rs 30 crore 65 lakh 72 thousand at the rate of Rs 300 per quintal on the sale of 10 lakh 21 thousand 907 quintals of paddy. At the same time, a bonus amount of Rs 64 crore 78 lakh 67 thousand will be distributed to the farmers selling paddy in the Kharif marketing year 2014-15 and 2015-16.
The program will be organized in the Central bank premises of Premnagar development block in Surajpur district, the auditorium of Agricultural Produce Market Surajpur in Pratappur, Durga Pandal in Premnagar, the bank premises of Odgi development block along with the cooperative society of Bhaiyathan.
