There will be indefinite strike for Maratha reservation from Jan 20

A big announcement has been made by maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange. He said that he will start an indefinite strike at azad Maidan in mumbai from january 20 to demand reservation for the community. Addressing a massive rally in Beed district of Marathwada region in Maharashtra, Manoj Jarange claimed that "crores" of people from the maratha community will come to mumbai on january 20.


Chief minister Eknath Shinde released video message

Meanwhile, chief minister Eknath Shinde said in a video message that the supreme court has accepted a curative petition of the state government regarding the maratha reservation issue and has fixed january 24 for hearing on it. cm Eknath Shinde said that this has opened a “window of hope” for the community. He said that his government is committed to providing reservation to the maratha community and requested people to exercise patience.


Time was given till 24th December

On behalf of maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange, the state government was given time till december 24 to fulfill his demand of giving reservation to the maratha community. Now, while warning of indefinite strike at azad Maidan in mumbai, Manoj Jarange has appealed to the youth of maratha community that they will leave for mumbai on 20th January. But the entire movement will be carried out in a peaceful manner. Manoj Jarange said that due to not getting reservation, the youth of maratha community are facing huge losses in jobs and education. youth are committing suicide but still the government is not taking it seriously. He said that till the maratha community does not get reservation, they are not going to back down.
