maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies minister Chhagan Bhujbal on friday took a dig at maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange and said that their demands are increasing, but the maharashtra government is helpless. While talking to reporters here, Bhujbal quipped that he is taking back all the things which he had said earlier. Bhujbal had earlier criticized Jaranga. The nationalist congress party (NCP) leader sarcastically said, “I also support all the demands of Jaranga. Who are the Other Backward Class (OBC) people…they are small and poor people. Even god is scared of Jaranga. What is the law and order situation in front of Jaranga? A minister should be constantly stationed with him.”

Chhagan Bhujbal said this

He said that the government is helpless. Senior OBC leader and founder of 'Mahatma Phule Samta Parishad', Bhujbal followed Eknath Shinde's leadership of issuing Kunbi (OBC) certificates to Marathas on the basis of historical records to enable the beneficiaries to avail the benefits of reservation in education and government jobs. It has adopted a stand contrary to the decision of the coalition government. His remarks came at a time when three state ministers had met Jarange at Antarwali Sarati village in Jalna district a day earlier and urged him to give more time for the government to respond to their demands. However, Jarange remained adamant on his december 24 deadline.
