On this occasion, state congress chief uday Bhan was also present with Hooda, when he was talking to journalists. Bhan said the party had launched a campaign named 'Donate for Desh' on monday to collect online donations and under this the state unit has received Rs 1.5 crore in donations. Bhan said that the 'India' alliance will hold nationwide protests on friday against the suspension of 141 MPs from Parliament. He said that this is the first case when so many people have been suspended.
‘Unemployment increased during the tenure of bjp government’
Hooda said that the unemployment rate has increased during the rule of the BJP-led government in Haryana, but the government has failed to take concrete steps to deal with it. On the winter session of the state assembly that ended on Tuesday, Hooda alleged that the government did not give satisfactory answers on different issues raised by the opposition. He told the media that during the time of the previous congress government, the unemployment rate was 4.3 percent in 2012, 2.9 percent in 2014 and after the bjp government came to power (in october 2014), it started increasing. It was 3.3 percent in 2015-16, 5.2 percent in 2016-17, 8.4 percent in 2017-18 and 9.3 percent in 2018-19.
