Another blow to Congress, Nand Kumar Sai, who left BJP, resigns?

After the crushing defeat of congress in chhattisgarh assembly elections, resignations are going on one after

another in the party. Just before the elections, Nand Kumar Sai left bjp and joined Congress. But Congress

government was not formed in chhattisgarh nor did the party give ticket to Nand Kumar Sai to contest the

elections. After this, as soon as the bjp government was formed in the state, Nand Kumar Sai took a U-turn. Sai

resigned from Nand Kumar only after seven months in Congress. Now speculations are being made that Sai may

return to bjp again.

On May 1, 2023, in the presence of the then chief minister bhupesh baghel, Nand Kumar Sai had joined the

Congress party with great fanfare in Raipur. After this Nand Kumar Sai participated in all the major programs of

Congress. He remained with bhupesh baghel in government programs throughout the elections. Baghel had

made Sai the chairman of chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation. But now after the defeat of

Congress, Sai has taken a U-turn and sent his resignation to congress state president deepak Baij on Wednesday.

Nand Kumar Sai may come back to BJP


Nand Kumar Sai has written in his resignation that, Some time ago, due to some circumstances, I had joined the

Congress party, stayed in the party for a few days and worked sincerely. Seeing the circumstances that have

arisen before me, I am resigning from being a primary member of the congress Party.  After this letter from Sai,

the discussion of december 13 is being discussed again. Because Sai, while being in the congress party, had

come to congratulate chief minister Vishnu Dev Sai. According to information received from sources, talks were

held to bring Sai back to BJP. It is believed that Sai can join bjp after getting permission from the central

leadership of BJP.

On april 30, Nand Kumar Sai resigned from BJP. Had separated himself from all responsibilities of the party.

The next day, on May 1, Nand Kumar Sai took membership of congress in the presence of the then Chief

Minister Bhupesh Baghel. During this time, Nand Kumar Sai had said that I have been with people like Atal

Bihari Vajpayee and Lal krishna Advani. Used to follow Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The bjp is no longer in the

form it was during Atal Advani's era. Circumstances have changed.
