On your deeds, on your misdeeds..., Lalan Singh on suspending MPs
Due to uproar and protests by opposition MPs during the winter session of parliament, 49 more MPs weresuspended again on tuesday (19 December). The number of suspended MPs in lok sabha and rajya sabha hasreached 141. With this, the proceedings of the lok sabha have been adjourned till 2 pm. JDU National PresidentLalan Singh's statement regarding all this has come out. Lalan Singh said that democracy is being murdered bysuspending opposition MPs to cover up their deeds and misdeeds....but the home minister will not comeJDU National President Lalan Singh said, The opposition MPs are making only one demand that the HomeMinister of this country, who is also a member of this house, should come and take stock of the government on thelapses in the security of the parliament Put your side. He is a member of the house, the home minister of thecountry, the government is answerable to the parliament but the home minister will not come here. This isdemocracy and this is their definition of democracy.Lalan Singh asked- On whose recommendation did the two people come?Lalan Singh said that when the opposition demands his (Amit Shah) arrival, they will suspend him. Democracy isbeing murdered. This is the temple of democracy. On this question the government is saying that the opposition isspoiling the atmosphere and the work is not being allowed to be done. On this Lalan Singh said that you work, whois stopping you? The proceedings of the parliament were going on until the parliament was attacked and people didnot enter. Now that this incident has happened, the home minister of the country should come and speak on thisissue. After all it is democracy. Who is the mp on whose recommendation these two people had come?
