As per report the congress has announced to go for crowdfunding, calling the campaign ‘Donate for Desh’, but oddly its website takes you to the bjp membership page where you can make a donation for the saffron party. This has left many congress supporters baffled, but report has learnt that the bjp has not bought the domain themselves. “Congress had announced its plan on december 16 without buying the website domain name or booking the twitter handle. There may be some bjp supporter who had immediately bought it and redirected to our official website. But I can confirm, we haven’t bought it,” said a senior bjp leader, adding that it shows the lack of seriousness on part of Congress.Meanwhile right now, if you click on www.donatefordesh.org, it automatically redirects you to BJP’s website. Meanwhile, ‘Donate for Desh’s dotcom version is being used by a website for its crowdfunding. Amid confusion, it took congress leader rahul gandhi to go on to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), and clarify the name of the website where congress supporters can donate. The name of the domain is www.donateinc.in.
