These young scientists had an important contribution in Chandrayaan-3

Among the important achievements made by india in the year 2023, the success of Chandrayaan mission can be

kept in the top. The success of this mission involved the tireless work of hundreds of scientists. With the landing of

Chandrayaan-3, three young scientists from madhya pradesh also became a part of ISRO’s history.

Actually, the year 2023 has been a year of pride for the young scientists of Madhya Pradesh. During this time, Om

Prakash Pandey of Satna district, Mahendra Thakur of Balaghat district and tarun Singh of Rewa district were

involved in the glorious mission of Chandrayaan-3. These three had the important responsibility of Chandrayaan-

3, which they have fulfilled very well. Let us know the story of the contribution of these three youth.

Mahendra thackeray Vehicle Team Project Manager

Mahendra thackeray filled Naxal-affected Balaghat district of madhya pradesh with pride. Mahendra thackeray,

a resident of small village Candatola in Birsa tehsil, played an important role in the Chandrayaan-3 mission as the

project manager of the vehicle team. This team was involved in the launching of Chandrayaan-3 on 14 July 2023.

Mahendra’s early education was in the government school of the village itself. After this he did graduation in

Science College, Raipur. Later Mahendra obtained higher education from delhi IIT. Mahendra had got campus

placement for isro from delhi IIT itself.

Tarun Singh given the responsibility of payload quality insurance

Rewa resident tarun Singh received his primary education in his village. Later, after completing 12th from Sainik

School, Rewa, he completed his studies in Mechanical Engineering from SGS ITS, Indore. Only after this Tarun

joined the indian Space Agency ISRO. tarun had handled the responsibility of payload quality insurance in

Chandrayaan-3 mission. This is a satellite camera, which takes pictures of the moon and sends the data in code.
