Sachin Pilot demanded early arrest of the killers of Sukhdev Singh
Yesterday in Rajasthan, the incident of shooting death of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena
has created a stir in the state. congress leader sachin pilot said that the news of the murder of Shri Rashtriya
Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi is sad. He has demanded immediate arrest of the accused
and strict punishment.
On the murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, DGP Umesh Mishra said that
Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was murdered in jaipur today. The killers had come to his house on
the pretext of talking. In this incident, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi and one of his bodyguards were shot. One of the
accused who was accompanying the killers was also shot and has died. The possible hideouts of the miscreants
are being raided. We have talked to haryana DG and sought help. Rohit Godara gang has taken responsibility for
the murder and will be arrested soon.
Let us tell you that after differences with Karni Sena’s founder and patron Lokendra Singh Kalvi, Gogamedi
separated from Shri Rajput Karni Sena in 2015 and formed Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Both these
organizations had opposed the film Padmavat over the alleged tampering of historical facts in the context of the
Rajput community. Taking immediate cognizance of this incident, the governor has directed the police to take
strict and effective action against the criminals in this regard.
