Social worker and industrialist RijuJhunjhunwala reached Hamirgarh airstrip by charter plane from delhi to cast his vote in Bhilwara and then casthis vote by road at Sarvodaya Secondary School, Gandhinagar.After this, he went to gayatri Ashram Bhilwara, a kitchen run under the Swabhiman Bhoj program, and had foodwith his colleagues and friends at the kitchen run by them for one rupee. On this occasion, industrialist RijuJhunjhunuwala said that he is always committed to social work and will keep trying to do more good byassociating with those who are doing good work. His industrial group Bhilwara Group has been contributing tothe development works of Bhilwara for the last several years. He said that at present 10 kitchens are run byJawahar Foundation and they will continue to make continuous efforts in other areas also. Riju Jhunjhunwala is the son-in-law of former rajasthan Tourism minister Bina Kak. He is a big businessman ofBhilwara. He had contested the lok sabha elections 2019 from Ajmer seat, but had to data-face defeat against the BJPcandidate. election was contested for mp from Ajmer North region. Total voters of Ajmer North region are206073, out of which 131356 votes were cast in which bjp candidate Vasudev Devnani was the winner, whileMahendra Singh Rlavata was in second place and congress candidate Riju Jhunjhunwala was in third place. .Although he had sought ticket from Bhilwara parliamentary constituency, he was made lok sabha candidatefrom North Ajmer in 2018/19.
