As per report a drought study team of the Center arrived in Karnataka, which is facing severe drought, and even after a month of study, no solution has been found yet. Therefore, chief minister Siddaramaiah has requested Union home minister amit shah to intervene and release drought relief to the state as soon as possible. The chief minister (Siddaramaiah) has written a letter to Shah about this on Tuesday, and the state government has announced that there has been a 73% lack of rain in the state this year, due to which 223 taluks of the state are affected by drought.
