Reports added the party's national president HD Deve Gowda has issued an order suspending JDS state president cm Ibrahim from the party for anti-party activities. cm Ibrahim, who had expressed opposition to the BJP-JDS alliance at the JDS brainstorming meeting held in Bangalore, is our own original JDS party. I am the state president of the original JDS. No one can remove me from the party. If you want to remove me, you should have a meeting in 2/3. The original JDS has no support for an alliance with the BJP. He had openly stated that the Indi alliance would be supported to defeat the NDA. After the JDS alliance with the bjp, cm Ibrahim had been openly making statements against the party. Devegowda had warned many times. Deve Gowda had thought of keeping it in the party after handing it over to the coalition government. But Ibrahim said in the meeting that an alliance with the bjp is not possible for centuries and openly said that he would give it to the Indi coalition.

HD Deve Gowda, who called a meeting of the office-bearers of the party against the backdrop of cm Ibrahim's anti-party activities, and expelled Ibrahim from the post of JDS party's state president, has now been suspended by the JDS party itself.
