During the Model Code of Conduct in the madhya pradesh assembly elections, major action has been taken

licenses of 758 licensed weapons with immediate effect.

In view of the assembly elections, security agencies have so far seized 3135 illegal weapons. Apart from this, 759
bullets and 3921 explosive substances have been recovered. These also include a bomb. Security agencies are still
running continuous operations to conduct the assembly elections peacefully.
In view of the assembly elections in madhya pradesh, surveillance is being maintained from interstate and
internal checkpoints. 376 interstate checkpoints have been set up in the state, while checking campaign is being
conducted through 712 internal checkpoints. 846 flying squads, 996 surveillance teams and 109 quick response
