Annamalai said that the DMK should stop trying to give government jobs to those who want them while ignoring them while waiting for lakhs of youth to register at the employment office. In a post published by tamil Nadu bjp president Annamalai, "Notification has been released for filling 2257 assistant and junior assistant vacancies in the cooperative societies operating under the cooperative department in tamil Nadu. In today's newspaper, there is a news that about 64 lakh youths are waiting to register at the government employment office. Why direct application is called for co-operative sector posts without selecting eligible candidates from among them? elections should be held for co-operative societies and posts should be filled under their supervision. But, without holding elections for cooperatives, they are asking for applications to fill up the vacancies urgently.
Only one DMK minister is in jail for accepting bribes to fill government posts. Once again, there is a suspicion that DMK is planning to commit such a large-scale malpractice. DMK should stop trying to hand over government jobs to those who want them, ignoring them while waiting for lakhs of youths to register at employment offices.
On behalf of the tamil Nadu bjp, I insist that the elections for the cooperative societies should be held immediately and the eligible youths who are registered in the employment office should be given priority in these jobs.
