Police administration alert for second phase, soldiers conducted flag march
On the instructions of bilaspur SP Santosh Singh, a large number of policemen, including officers of centralsecurity forces along with the district police force, conducted a flag march in the entire city for the second phase ofvoting in the 2023 assembly elections to be held in Chhattisgarh. The objective of the flag march is to maintainpeace in the city in view of the upcoming assembly elections, to give a strong message to anti-social elements, toprevent any untoward incident before it happens and to ensure adherence to the model code of conduct. Whereas the otherteam covered police Ground-Satyam Chowk-Shrikant Verma Marg-Vyapar vihar Road-Sirgitti Basti-BannakChowk-High court Road-Chakarbhatha Bazaar-Tifra Bazaar-Maharana Pratap Chowk-Gaurav Path-Usalapur-Sakri-Mangla Chowk-Nehru Chowk- Flag march was conducted on Ambedkar Chowk-Police Ground route.Voting is to be held on 70 seats in the second phase.Assembly elections 2023 are being held in two phases in Chhattisgarh. In the first phase, voting has taken place in20 assembly constituencies on 7 November. Now in the second phase, voting is to be held in 70 assemblyconstituencies on november 17. Before this, chhattisgarh police and central security forces are on full alert. Theaim is to maintain peace in the city at the time of voting, give a strong message to anti-social elements, prevent anyuntoward incident before it happens and ensure adherence to the model code of conduct.
