MP Election: SP, Akhilesh Yadav are continuously sweating in their attempt

Krishanthini
Samajwadi party does not have any major political base in Madhya Pradesh. Still, it is harboring the dream of

becoming the third largest party after congress and bjp in the elections being held here. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav

is continuously sweating here. SP’s strategy here was to strengthen itself by holding the finger of congress, but at

the last moment, congress spoiled SP’s plans by not giving seats.

There is a close contest between bjp and congress in madhya pradesh, but SP is also showing itself involved in

this contest. Political experts say that the influence of SP in madhya pradesh is not as much as that of bjp and

Congress, but the party has definitely been the fourth force after BSP. The party has its vote bank in Bundelkhand,

especially in Tikamgarh and Niwari districts data-bordering Uttar Pradesh. SP’s best performance was in the 2003

elections, when seven of its MLAs were elected to the assembly.

SP’s dominance in Vindhya and Bundelkhand

Political experts say that SP has dominance in Vindhya and Bundelkhand data-bordering UP. There are 26 seats in

Bundelkhand region alone. This belt is adjacent to Etawah. SP has some influence in Bhind and Chambal

divisions. According to the election data, congress had emerged as the largest party in 2018, but was far away

from majority. In such a situation, congress had formed the government with the help of BSP and SP MLAs. In

the last election, SP had got 1.30 percent votes along with the seat.

A senior leader of Samajwadi party said that in madhya pradesh, congress has neglected the party by not giving

seats to SP. Apart from this, former chief minister of madhya pradesh Kamal Nath, while speaking rudely to the

journalists about the National President, said, Hey brother, leave Akhilesh-Vakhilesh. It was as if he did not know

the SP chief, whereas the truth is that congress has saved its government many times because of us.
