On tuesday (07 November), the second day of the winter session of bihar Vidhan Sabha, the Economic

Social survey report related to caste census was presented by nitish kumar Government. In this report,

detailed information has been given about the economic income of the people in Bihar. According to

statistics, about 25 percent of the people of the general category have a monthly income of up to Rs 6,000.

Monthly income of 9 percent people is more than Rs 50 thousand

Apart from this, the income of 23 percent is 6 to 10 thousand rupees. The income of 19 percent people in the

general category is between 10 thousand to 20 thousand rupees. Whereas the income of 16 percent is


between 20 thousand to 50 thousand. There are only 9 percent people whose monthly income is more than

Rs 50 thousand.

According to the report released, the monthly income of 33 percent of the backward class people in the state

is up to Rs 6 thousand. The income of 29 percent is 6 to 10 thousand. Monthly income of 18 percent is Rs 10

to 20 thousand. The income of 10 percent is 20 to 50 thousand and only 4 percent of the population has a

monthly income of 50 thousand or more. At the same time, there are 42 percent people in Scheduled Castes

whose monthly income is up to six thousand. The income of 29 percent is between six to ten thousand. The

income of 15 percent is Rs 10-20 thousand. The income of 5 percent is between 20 to 50 thousand and the

income of 1 percent is more than 50 thousand rupees.

Who has how much income in Scheduled Tribe category?

If we talk about extremely backward class, the monthly income of 33 percent is up to Rs 20 thousand. The

income of 32 percent is 6 to 10 thousand rupees. The income of 18 percent is 10 to 20 thousand rupees. Only

2 percent people's monthly income is more than Rs 50 thousand. Apart from this, the monthly income of 42

percent people in Scheduled Tribe category is up to Rs 10 thousand. The income of 25 percent is 6 to 10

thousand rupees. The income of 16 percent people is 10 to 20 thousand rupees. The income of 8 percent is

20 to 50 thousand rupees. Only 2.53 percent people have monthly income of Rs 50 thousand or more.
