Voting for the first phase is going on in Chhattisgarh. Voting is being held on 12 seats of Bastar division and

8 seats of Durg division. According to the information received from the election Commission, till 3 pm,

59.19 percent voting took place in the state. According to the information, till now the maximum voting has

taken place in Mobla-Manpur-Ambagarh outpost. Here 73 percent voters have exercised their franchise

while the lowest turnout has taken place in Bijapur. Here till 3 pm only 30 percent people have voted.


At the same time, according to the information received from the election Commission, till 11 am, 28.84

percent in Antagarh assembly number (79), 19.97 percent in Bastar (85), 36.10 percent in bhanu Pratappur

(80), 9.11 percent in Bijapur (89), Chitarkot (87) ) 12.30 percent, Dantewada (88) 23.15 percent,

Dongargaon (76) 18.06 percent, Dongargarh (74) 21.50 percent, Jagdalpur (86) 18.36 percent, Kanker (81)

34.65 percent, Kawardha (72) 23.25 percent voting took place. Apart from this, 27.63 percent in Keshkal

(82), 24.73 percent in Khairagarh (73), 26.98 percent in Khujji (77), 32.50 percent in Kondagaon (83), 12.39

percent in Konta (90), 33 percent in Mohla Manpur (78), There was 21.60 percent voting in Narayanpur

(84), 14 percent in Rajnandgaon (75) and 21 percent in Pandariya (71).

223 candidates are in the fray in the first phase.

There are a total of 223 candidates in 20 assembly constituencies in the first phase. Of which 198 are men

and 25 are women. The total number of voters in 20 seats of the first phase is 40 lakh 78 thousand 681.

These include 19 lakh 93 thousand 937 male voters, 20 lakh 84 thousand 675 female voters and 69 third

gender voters. A total of 5304 polling stations have been set up for the first phase of elections.

Voting will be held in two phases in Chhattisgarh. Voting is being held on 20 assembly seats in the first

phase. Of these, voting will be held from 8 am to 5 pm in 10 assembly constituencies, which include

Pandaria, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Dongargaon, Khujji, Bastar, Jagdalpur and

Chitrakote assembly seats. Voting will be held on the remaining 10 seats from 7 am to 3 pm.
