Congress leader priyanka Gandhi Vadra on monday alleged that GST and demonetization have seriously

harassed small traders and other citizens, adding that her party’s promises to the people and their

implementation have been disrupted ahead of voting for the upcoming assembly elections. Urged to increase the

level of awareness about. Addressing a rally in Kukshi town in Madhya Pradesh’s tribal-dominated Dhar

district, priyanka criticized the narendra modi government at the Center for its economic policies, including

privatization of public sector units (PSUs) to benefit industrialists.

“The (central) government closed down public sector industries, resulting in massive unemployment,” he said.

After this he implemented demonetization and then imposed GST. GST has troubled everyone including small

traders, due to which inflation has increased.

He claimed, GST is applicable on everything due to which small traders have to data-face a lot of problems. This

has led to huge inflation and unemployment. people have to pay GST on everything, even small things during

festivals.

Attacking the Centre, priyanka alleged that public sector companies are being given to industrialists for free, be

it BHEL, Railways, airports, ports etc. This action is creating unemployment in the country. Pointing to the

rising prices of onions, the congress leader told the crowd that once upon a time prime minister (Narendra)
