Sri Lanka : government of india has decided to build 10,000 more houses for the plantation workers in Sri Lanka. As part of Phase 4 of India's Housing Project, the government of india has announced plans to build 10,000 more houses for plantation workers in Sri Lanka. This information has been officially announced by the Finance minister of india, Nirmala Sitharaman. Speaking at the 'Nam 200' program yesterday to celebrate 200 years of Indian-origin Tamils (IOT) arrival in sri lanka, indian Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman began her speech by hailing the success of Phase 3 of India's flagship development plan. He also said that minister narendra Modi has announced that 10,000 more houses will be built for plantation workers in sri lanka under the 4th phase of the indian Housing Project.
Also speaking, the Finance minister said, "The Hon'ble prime minister, Mr. narendra Modi, fondly recalled his visit to the beautiful region in the hills last year in 2017. Appreciating India's flagship development program, the third phase of India's Housing Project, prime minister Modi has provided over 4,000 houses under the third phase, in addition to 10,000 for plantation workers. He also recalled announcing that he would show houses. The minister said that he is happy to share that the third phase is nearing completion with 3,700 houses already provided to the beneficiaries. Today we are laying the foundation stone for the first phase of 10,000 houses under the fourth phase of the project as part of "NAAM 200", he said.
