Telangana Hyderabad sees surge in residential sales
Hyderabad had a remarkable uptick in residential debuts in the third quarter of 2023, with almost 24,900 new units entering the market. Anarock's statistics for Q3 2023 shows that this rise accounted for a considerable 21% of the entire new supply across India's top seven cities.
The city had a significant 60% increase from the same period last year and a 137% increase from the preceding quarter. With 56% of the city's new launches coming from its western region, hyderabad emerged as the top, closely followed by North hyderabad with 40%. These two zones saw exceptional growth, with the north experiencing a staggering quarterly rise of 301%, and the west following closely behind with a noteworthy 14% increase.
By contrast, the only zone to have a quarter-over-quarter reduction was South hyderabad, which experienced a 78% decline. The Anarock analysis states that the premium and ultra-luxury home sectors were pivotal in this regard. hyderabad surpasses all other cities in terms of residential sales, with around 16,400 units sold in Q3 2023.

With 89,100 units available by the end of the third quarter of 2023, the city saw the most growth both year over year and quarter over quarter among the top seven cities. Anarock believes that Hyderabad's residential real estate market has a bright future.
It said that new growth corridors would be made available by the ongoing development of the ORR and the hyderabad Metro rail network, which will increase the city's appeal and accessibility to prospective purchasers.
