Political parties confused in Vagad, nominations not filed

Krishanthini

Only a few days are left for the assembly elections in Rajasthan. Nominations of political parties have also

started. However, till now no candidate of any national party has filed nomination in Mewar Vagad i.e. Udaipur

division. Also, there are still seats where candidates have not been declared. Talking about the announcement of

candidates, political parties have been in trouble on 9 assembly seats of Vagad i.e. Banswara and Dungarpur

districts. Because 6 parties have placed their bets here. Of these, apart from bjp and Congress, two are

considered to be the ones who can challenge. Know what is the condition of Vagad.

Parties preparing to challenge bjp and Congress

There are 28 assembly seats in Mewar and Vagad. Of these, 9 sites are in Vagad area which falls in Dungarpur

and Banswara districts. Till now, competition has been seen between only two parties, bjp and Congress. In the

last elections, Bharatiya Tribal party had entered which snatched two assembly seats from bjp and Congress.

Even now Bharatiya Tribal party has fielded its candidates on all the seats. Apart from this, the newly formed

Bharatiya Adivasi party has also fielded its candidates this year. Both these parties can spoil the game. Apart

from these, aam aadmi party and CPI(M) have also fielded their candidates on some seats which can cut into

the votes. The elections are going to make a mess of these 6 parties.

Why did you enter into tribal politics?

Now the question arises that why all the parties played their bets here. The reason behind this is 28 assembly

seats. Leaving aside the previous elections, the current figures show that whoever wins these 28 seats will form

the government. Secondly, this is the politics of tribal voters. Out of 28 seats in Mewar Vagad, 16 are

dominated by tribal voters. These are reserved seats and tribal voters decide victory or defeat. To woo them, big

leaders of both the parties including PM narendra Modi, rahul gandhi have visited.
