In rajasthan, bharatiya janata party has complained to the election commission against the ashok Gehlot

government. bjp says that the congress party government in rajasthan has given allurement in the name

of giving guarantees. Rajendra Singh Shekhawat says that chief minister Gehlot is luring voters in the

name of guarantees. After giving seven guarantees on behalf of chief minister ashok Gehlot, bjp has filed

a complaint with the election commission for getting the common people to register themselves to avail

the benefits of such schemes by making missed calls on their mobile numbers.

For this, the bjp delegation met Chief Electoral Officer praveen Gupta and submitted a memorandum. In

the memorandum, he has said that after the announcement of elections, any kind of scheme by which any

political party lures the common people or any such scheme by which voters are tempted to vote is against

the rules. This is a complete violation of the Aadhaar Code and also comes under the category of corrupt

conduct under Section 123 of the Representation of the people Act 1951.

What was said in the complaint?

bjp Prabuddhajan Cell convenor Rajendra Singh Shekhawat said that recently chief minister Ashok

Gehlot wrote a message of seven guarantees through his twitter ID @ashokgehlots and made the common


people misscall through mobile number 8587070707 to register themselves to avail the benefits of such

schemes. Message has been given to get it done. Enticing the general public to register for such guarantee

schemes is not only a violation of the model code of conduct but also a criminal act.
