Former assembly Speaker Sitasharan Sharma is facing his brother Girijashankar Sharma. Girijashankar is the

Congress candidate. Girijashankar had recently joined Congress. On the other hand, Congress's Nidhi sunil Jain

is contesting against her brother-in-law and sitting bjp mla Shailendra Jain on the assembly seat in Sagar.

Nidhi Jain is the wife of Shailendra Jain's younger brother sunil Jain. sunil is a former congress mla from

Deori.

In another family election battle, sitting bjp mla Sanjay Shah is contesting against his nephew Abhijeet Shah

in Timarni. Abhijeet is congress candidate. Abhijeet Shah is contesting against his uncle for the second time. On

the other hand, in Dabra seat, former bjp minister of State Imarti Devi is standing against her relative and

Suresh Raje, who is the congress candidate. Similarly, in Devtalab, congress has fielded Padmesh Gautam

against his uncle Girish Gautam.
