Seizures across Telangana Hyderabad touch Rs 37.23 crores

The hyderabad district police and special flying squads have recovered cash and other things worth Rs 37.23 crore since the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) went into force. The police are conducting routine automobile checks day and night at various points throughout hyderabad and even in regions within the jurisdiction of the adjoining police commissionerates of Rachakonda and Cyberabad in an effort to apprehend those who are moving or who have undeclared cash in their cars.
Additionally, the authorities are closely monitoring any locations where they believe political parties may stash gold, booze, sarees, or other items intended to be handed to sway voters.
