CM Yogi Adityanath will come on a four-day visit to Gorakhpur
During Shardiya navratri in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Gorakshpeeth, which is immersed in the devotion of
shakti, is ready for special ceremonial programs for three consecutive days from sunday to Tuesday. For these
three days, the chief minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar yogi adityanath will be engrossed in various rituals
and worship. On sunday, on the Ashtami date of navratri, Gorakshpeethadhishwar will perform Mahanisha
puja and havan as per the rituals and pray for the welfare of the people.
On the first day of navratri, cm yogi adityanath had installed the Kalash in the shakti temple located on the
first floor of the monastery of Gorakhnath temple. On the night of Ashtami, he will worship Adishakti here and
perform Mahanisha puja. According to the tradition of Nath sect, a special Havan is performed by offering
Satvik sacrifices on the night of Ashtami. On Monday, october 23, the ritual of Kanya Puja will be held from
8:30 am as a symbol of reverence and respect towards mother power.
chief minister yogi adityanath will carry forward the tradition of Gorakshpeeth towards mother power by
worshiping girls. Gorakshpeethadhishwar will wash the feet of nine virgin girls in the form of Durga, apply
tilak of roli, sandalwood, curd and akshat on their forehead and worship them as per the rituals. After serving
food with full devotion, giving dakshina and gifts, we will also seek his blessings. During this time, Batuk puja
will also be performed as per tradition. Whereas on tuesday 24th october, after the special worship of Guru
Gorakshanath and Tilakotsav of Gorakshpeethadhishwar, a grand procession of vijayadashami will be taken out
in the evening.
