Absence in election training program proved costly, they were suspended

In view of the assembly elections in Dhar district, an election training program was organized on 11, 12 and 13

October, in which nine employees including eight teachers behaved negligently by remaining absent without any

concrete reason. When this complaint reached collector and district election Officer Priyank Mishra, he suspended

all the nine employees. Apart from this, other employees and officers have also been clearly warned.

District election Officer and collector Priyank Mishra said that election training program was organized at all the

assembly headquarters. Important things related to elections were explained in the three-day training program. Nine

employees including eight teachers were absent in this election programme. He told that an order had already been

issued that no employee or officer can remain absent without any concrete reason during the election period.

Employees suspended for being absent

He said that despite this warning, the employees were negligent, complaints about which were received from

different areas. After this all nine employees have been suspended. Apart from this, other employees and officers

engaged in election work have also been directed not to remain absent during any work or training without any

concrete reason or information. If they do so, concrete action will be taken against them also.

District election Officer and collector Priyank Mishra has suspended nine teachers of Dhar district. These include

Bhagwan Singh Baghel, Kailash Parmar, shyam Sundar, Bahadur Singh, Akshay Upadhyay, Brijesh Kumar, Bhairav

Singh Baghel, Bhoor Singh Jamod. Apart from this, Revenue Department employee Gopal Kharadi has also been

suspended for remaining absent.
