The artiste women's allowance scheme has been launched to provide Rs.1000 monthly allowance to the heads of the family. chief minister Stalin launched this scheme on 15th of last month. Subsequently, it has been informed that on the 15th of every month, the artist women's rights amount will be credited to the bank account of the concerned persons. But since the 15th of this month is a Sunday, it will be credited a day earlier. In the current financial year, Rs 7,000 crore has been allocated for the Artist women Entitlement Scheme, and 1.63 crore applications have been received. Out of which 1 crore 6 lakh 50 thousand eligible family women were selected for this scheme.

Earlier, applications not fulfilling the qualifications mentioned in the Ordinance and applications subject to ineligibility were not accepted. It was announced that the rejected candidates can appeal. Accordingly, many women are appealing. As some of the applications have been accepted, those women are also likely to get the artist's royalties this month. As a result, some women are likely to receive the Artist Women's Entitlement amount this month.
