Sports industry is growing into star sector: CM Stalin..!?
Speaking at a ceremony to give incentives to tamil Nadu athletes who won medals in the Asian Games, chief minister Stalin expressed pride that the sports industry in tamil Nadu is growing into a star industry. 48 players from tamil Nadu participated in the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, china from september 23rd to october 8th on behalf of the indian team. Out of which 20 male and female players won 9 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze medals totaling 28 medals. At a function organized by the tamil Nadu sports Development Authority of the youth Welfare and sports Development Department in Chennai, chief minister Stalin congratulated the 20 tamil Nadu sportsmen and women who won medals in the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, china by handing over checks of Rs. 9 crore 40 lakh as high incentive.
Speaking on the occasion, chief minister Stalin said that it is a pleasure that tamil Nadu athletes have won more medals in the Asian Games held in China. Also, 28 percent of India's total medals have come from tamil Nadu. chief minister Stalin also said that the sports sector is growing as a 'star' sector in tamil Nadu. “Any government will focus more on certain sectors. But our Dravidian model government has been developing all the sectors together by paying more attention to all the sectors.
