There is no shortage of money, CM Kejriwal said at the awards ceremony
delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal on monday gave state awards to persons with disabilities for achievements
in different fields. On this occasion, he said that with determination these people transformed their weaknesses
into strengths. cm kejriwal said that there is no shortage of money in delhi Government. delhi government is
the only government in the country which has no shortage of money. If we have to make new plans for the
disabled, we will definitely make them.
The chief minister suggested the Social Welfare Department to publish inspirational stories and photographs of
such people in the form of full-page advertisements in newspapers so that more and more people can be inspired
by their achievements. During the program, state government awards for persons with disabilities were given to
sportspersons, writers, a motivational speaker and other achievers. While presenting the awards, kejriwal also
interacted briefly with some of the award winners on the stage.
cm described the awards ceremony as an emotional experience
cm kejriwal said, “Today’s award ceremony was an emotional and spiritual experience for me. Each of the
award winners has achieved something in his life, someone plays badminton sitting in a wheelchair, someone is a
motivational speaker. The story of each of them is very inspiring.
They have the hunger to do something for the society
The chief minister praised the award winners and said that with determination they have transformed their
weakness into strength. They have a hunger to do something for the society. We all need to take inspiration from
them. He said, “Generally people start crying over small problems. Despite the huge difficulties that these people
have gone through, I would like to tell the department that their amazing and inspiring stories should be published
on full pages in newspapers.
