After receiving an email stating that the airplane was about to be hijacked, airport officials canceled a flight from hyderabad to Dubai. The message turned out to be a hoax, and all of the travelers were unharmed. On sunday night, the email was received by the airport's in-charge individual. According to the report, a member of the ISI of pakistan was aboard the airplane to dubai and planned to seize control of it. The 111 passengers disembarked once the flight was terminated. They were accommodated on planes, according to sources.
A senior member of the Cyberabad police commissionerate said that after investigating the jet and the passengers' backgrounds, they had discovered that the email was a hoax. "We will take action against the mischief-makers," he declared. A team from the airport investigated the threat letter in the interim and came to the conclusion that it was "specific." They thus took all required measures, removed three passengers, and handed them over to law enforcement. An investigation is under progress.
Three individuals—Tirupati Badineni, L Vinod Kumar, and P Rakesh Kumar—were recognized and detained right away to be questioned. Flight AI951, which was earlier slated to fly for dubai, was apparently canceled as a precaution, and 111 passengers were transferred to another aircraft. Authorities are looking into the situation while a case has been filed.
