As a "mamool," Inspector M. Narender, Sub-Inspector S. naveen Reddy, and hari Home Guard were caught on camera on friday receiving a bribe of Rs. 3 lakh from a pub owner. According to an acb news release, these three were questioned after the managing partner of the dancing club filed a complaint alleging criminal misbehaviour against them. According to the acb, the police officials initially requested'mamool' in the sum of Rs 4.5 lakh, but eventually agreed to accept Rs 3 lakh for a period of three months. According to acb, Narender allegedly threatened to sue the proprietor of the dance club if the money was not supplied, while the house guard hari sought an additional Rs 10,000 for himself.

Additionally, according to acb, the complainant received a number of whatsapp messages in order to collect the bribe money. When the complainant did not comply with the bribe demand, Narender, the AO-1, began tormenting him by filing a bogus case against him with the full participation of the AO-2. On the evening of september 30, they went to the bar, summoned him out and took him to the police station in Banjara Hills, where he was held for many hours, according to ACB. After that, the complaint went to the acb, and a case was filed against them.

According to reports, the acb discovered some cash at the police station and seized it. A few more locations also underwent searches. According to acb authorities, the situation is being investigated, and additional action will be taken in accordance with the proper legal process.
